Bring Hope and acceptance to all in Anchorage, AK!

Over the course of 46 days, in a hand-to-hand exchange, people throughout the nation will carry the Special Olympics Flame of Hope across the country and deliver it to Los Angeles for the Special Olympics World Summer Games.  In Alaska, the symbolic flame will be lit at 1 p.m. in recognition of the flame being lit in LA to open the 2015 World Summer Games.

Join us for a Celebratory BBQ following the URAA!

Where: Special Olympics Alaska Sports, Health and Wellness Center (3200 Mountain View Drive)

When: 4-8 p.m.

Why: The Alaska leg of the Unified Relay Across America will finish with the lighting of the Special Olympics Alaska Cauldron that was used in the 2001 World Winter Games!
