Coastline Challenge

WE DID IT

Special Olympics Alaska athletes, Unified partners, coaches and volunteers came together toward a common goal of walking the coastline of the great state of Alaska!

Our Goal: collectively walk 6,640 miles by the start of the 2020 Alaska Law Enforcement Torch Run July 18

We reached our goal the morning of July 14. We are so pleased to have had the support of 115 athletes, Unified partners, coaches, volunteers and community members from in and around the state. Thank you to everyone who participated in this fun challenge!

Special Olympics Alaska provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
